Norooz postcards

3 dimensional origami postcards

Year: 2014

Collaborator: Ali Naghavi

These greeting cards are designed for the Norooz Festival, the Persian new year festival that happens on the first day of spring in the Persian calendar. The traditional iconography for the Persian new year is a decorated plate of grass and goldfish (rather than bunnies)!

We printed postcards with a decorative pattern, and provided instructions that allowed recipients to fold their postcards into three-dimensional decorations.
